Hello! :) That’s exactly why I built this.
I grew up in Wyoming, where the landscape was enormous, but the room for people like me didn’t always feel that way.
Photography was the first language I found that could hold everything I didn’t have words for:
the longing
the beauty
the feeling of being present in a space where people wanted me to be different.
All of us deserve images that are as full and complex as we are.
I don’t manufacture versions of people. I find the version that is already there.
I’m a photographer and videographer. I work with individuals at some of the most significant moments of their lives. I work with couples and chosen families building their own definitions of commitment. I work with drag artists and performers who need imagery as bold as their art. I work with businesses and organizations that have stories worth telling and audiences who need to hear them.
My sessions are affirming, unhurried, and built entirely around you.
I love giving folks time to settle into themselves, and I pay close attention so I can recognize the exact moment when they do.
I am based in Portland, OR. I shoot on location throughout the Pacific Northwest and travel for the right projects.
